NBVME Discussion Forums

Welcome to the NBVME discussion forums! This is a place created to help test candidates and others ask questions, get information and give feedback regarding the various NBVME examinations. We've set up five specific forums: NAVLE discussion, NAVLE application process, QE discussion, foreign trained veterinarians, and miscellaneous NBVME matters. The NBVME staff will be moderating the discussions during regular business hours, and will try to respond to queries in a timely manner.

Please take a moment to read the message board guidelines below before posting. If you have any suggestions regarding the message board or need to report violations of the message board guidelines, please contact our office at mail@nbvme.org.

If you have a question that requires an immediate response, call our office at 701-224-0332.

NAVLE® Discussion

This forum is designed to allow NAVLE candidates and potential candidates to share questions with NBVME staff and view answers given to questions from other candidates. Click here to discuss anything about the NAVLE.

NAVLE® Application Process

NAVLE application requirements and deadlines vary from one licensing board to another. Click here to discuss the application process.

Qualifying Examination (QE) Discussion

This forum is designed to allow QE candidates and potential candidates to share questions with NBVME staff and view answers given to questions from other candidates. Click here to discuss anything about the QE.

Foreign-trained Veterinarians

Often there are questions specific to NAVLE candidates who went to non-accredited veterinary schools. Click here to share questions regarding the NAVLE with the NBVME staff and view answers given to questions from other candidates.  This is not the venue for information about educational equivalency programs (such as ECFVG or PAVE).  Information about those programs may be found here.

Miscellaneous NBVME Matters

This forum is for any subject areas not covered in the other forums. Click here if you would like to discuss one of our other examinations, such as the VCSA or the Species Specific Examinations, or anything else related to the NBVME.
