Irregular Behavior

All candidates taking NBVME examinations must agree with the following statement before they are able to take the examination: "This examination is owned and copyrighted by the National Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners (NBVME). Any reproduction of these materials or any part of them, through any means, including, but not limited to copying or printing of electronic files, reconstruction through memorization and/or dictation, and/or dissemination of these materials or any part of them is strictly prohibited."

The NBVME defines irregular behavior to include any behavior that threatens the integrity of the examination process. Any irregular behavior or violation of the test administration rules by a candidate could jeopardize the candidate's potential for licensure. The NBVME reserves the right to cancel scores of any candidate who engages in irregular behavior, and also may bar that individual from one or more future administrations or permanently. Such individuals may also be subject to possible civil or criminal prosecution.
